Diamond Age.

The ending was kind of rushed, seed technology wasn’t really touched on in detail. On the up side the book becomes more about actual human ties. Nell and Miranda met through the Primer, if it wasn’t for the Primer Nell wouldn’t be the person who she is today. Due to the fact that Miranda is basically the Primer, if it wasn’t for Miranda Nell wouldn’t be who she is. Nell also helped Miranda. She made her feel like she had a reason to do what she was doing, She felt like she had a sense of responsibility with Nell. She was the person who was supposed to teach her and care for her because Nell had no one else in her life to do so. By Miranda becoming Nells mother it kind of says that humanity cant be replaced by technology. The Primer taught Nell to work within a technological environment but still value human relationships at the same time. In the beginning of the book women were put down and looked down upon and at the end its more empowering, Nell ends up running her own little army. She becomes an independent, knowledgeable young girl, thanks to the Primer.
